For Bid Matching customers only, this popular add-on service is a hassle free way of maximizing productivity. The LAMLINKS software constructs Quotation files from the information contained within the bid matching notices. After entering default demographic information one time, a quote can be generated by entering only the unit price and delivery period. The extension price is even automatically calculated! Quotation files can contain virtually any number of quotes and when complete can either be exported and emailed to Lambda or sent via FTP for upload. With this service, the repetitious input of data is eliminated, the possibility of clerical error reduced, and there is no time spent batching, sorting, and uploading quotes by Agency. Upon receipt of a quotation file, Lambda sorts the contents, uploads the quotes to the correct agency and returns an acknowledgment to the customer. The LAMLINKS software automatically keeps a detailed history of all quotation files so that customers can closely monitor their business. All Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) quotes, except "R" proposals, as well as Navy EDI solicitations are accepted. Prices start at $50/month.
Basic EDI includes EDI transactions flowing only in one direction - from the government to the vendor - and therefore requires no software installation. This service is all that is needed for POPS contracts that don't require electronic invoicing or notice of shipment. It is also the ideal way to get the earliest possible notification of a purchase order or to keep track of who got the award on DLA solicitations that you have quoted. Basic EDI is attractively priced at either $25 or $50 per month, depending on whether or not you are also a Bid Matching customer.
